LIVE STREAM the upcoming CNTRP International Summit: Emerging areas of biomedical research in transp
The CNTRP, in partnership with the Alberta Transplant Institute, is organizing the upcoming CNTRP International Summit: Emerging areas of biomedical research in transplantation in Edmonton on August 13-14, 2016. The goal of this summit is to explore and plan international research collaborations to stimulate cutting-edge and emerging biomedical and translational research focused on rejection/cGVHD, tissue injury, allograft function and patient survival.
We are inviting all CNTRP Researchers and community members to participate in this event through our LIVE web-stream that will allow you to watch all the presentations and participate in the discussion through our live-chat. To register for this live-stream event, please contact Stephanie Maier, CNTRP Program Manager, at maiers[at]ualberta[dot]ca to request the log-in details.
The international speakers participating in the meeting include:
Dr. Rob Fairchild, Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland What experimental mouse models can tell us about antibody-mediated kidney allograft rejection
Dr. Michael Hickey, Monash University, Mebourne, Australia Imaging regulatory T cell/endothelial cell interactions in the inflamed microvasculature
Dr. Roslyn Mannon, University of Alabama, Birmingham Late Kidney Allograft Failure: Translational studies to improve outcomes
Dr. Thalachallour Mohanakumar (Kumar), Washington University, St. Louis Crosstalk between allo and autoimmunity in allograft rejection
Dr. Jerry Ritz, Harvard University, Boston Immune Mechanisms of Chronic Graft versus Host Disease
Dr. Megan Sykes, Columbia University, New York Expanded Tregs in pre-clinical and clinical mixed chimerism induction
Dr. Emmanuel Zorn, Columbia University, New York Innate B cells and natural antibodies in transplantation
DOWNLOAD the full program for the meeting and all sessions will be recorded and shared on the CNTRP website following the event.
