Announcing the release of CNTRP's third annual scientific progress report
The Canadian National Transplant Research Program is pleased to share our third annual scientific progress report with our research community. The past year has been a period of tremendous growth and achievement for the CNTRP and the achievements described in this report would not have been possible without everyone's ongoing collaboration and dedication to the CNTRP. It is with our collective efforts that the CNTRP continues to make new and exciting strides towards improving donation and transplantation.
Our major accomplishment from the past year that we describe in the Year 3 report include:
With partners in chemistry, creating and testing a new diagnostic to facilitate safe ABO-incompatible transplantation, and partnering with industry to move this technology toward commercialization and clinical use
We would like to thank the members of the CNTRP Evaluations Committee, Chaired by Dr. Beth Foster and Co-Chaired by Dr. Donna Wall, for spearheading our evaluations process that led to this report.
We would also like to take this opportunity to extend a heartfelt thank you to all CNTRP Executive members, Project and Core leads/co-leads, Committee leads and members, CNTRP investigators, trainees, patient/family partners and staff for helping us to take another step towards improving the lives of Canadians for whom transplantation offers a ‘second chance' at health.
Again, thank you for all your hard work and dedication.
