JOB ALERT: Clinical Research Project Coordinator (Sick Kids, Toronto)
Dr. Samantha Anthony’s program of research focuses on establishing an evidence-based foundation for successful psychosocial adaptation and enhanced quality of life for individuals with chronic disease, with a specific focus on pediatric solid-organ transplantation. Two key components of her research program include: (1) systematically integrating patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) into clinical practice to enhance patient care and improve health outcomes; and (2) developing and evaluating digital health technologies to deliver innovative self-management, peer mentoring and transitional care interventions.
The Clinical Research Project Coordinator (CRPC) coordinates clinical research studies according to regulatory and institutional guidelines and requirements. This includes coordinating participant recruitment, data collection, data entry and analysis, study administration, preparing consents and paperwork required by the Research Ethics Board. The CRPC also assists in the preparation of study results, including presentations, progress reports, and manuscripts.
