Join us for the 2nd Public and Patient Forum of Donation and Transplantation on Oct. 16 in Banff!
In its second year, the PUBLIC AND PATIENT FORUM ON DONATION AND TRANSPLANTATION will be held on the afternoon of October 16, 2019 in Banff, Alberta. The Forum welcomes all patient, patient family members and member of the public to enjoy discussions and presentations prepared to bring donation and transplant communities together.
After the welcome address, a presentation by Canadian Blood Services about the system overview, followed by a networking activity and presentation of what’s new and exciting in donation and transplantation will lead the way for the Boulet family presentation on how they built a national movement. The program will continue with a talk from the patient-led Alberta ORGANization Group on transplant economics and conclude with Dr. Matthew Weiss discussing presumed consent in an open format.
The program is designed to have as much participation as possible, while enjoying the company and meeting of new fellow patients, living donors and members of the public. Attending the program is free for patients and patient members.
