REGISTRATION OPEN - Graduate Course in Regenerative Medicine open to all CNTRP members and trainees
The Training Program in Regenerative Medicine (TPRM) is pleased to offer a multi-disciplinary regenerative medicine graduate course for 2017-2018 that is open to all CNTRP trainees.
IMPORTANT: The course can be taken for credits towards a Master/PhD diploma by trainees across Canada.
The course is hosted by the University of Toronto, Institute of Medical Science (MSC7000Y) and is delivered in class and through live and archived webcast (for those located outside of Toronto) over 30 weeks starting on September 14, 2017.
The scope of this multi-disciplinary course is unique in Canada, featuring lectures from prominent researchers from across Canada on the following topics:
Organ Failure and Transplantation
Stem Cells and Biomaterials
Innovative Technologies and Clinical Trials
Regulatory and Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine
Ethics and Society
The enrollment process should be started as early as possible (no later than August 28, 2017) by contacting Anna Cocco at the TPRM to confirm space availability and obtain course details and requirements. When contacting Anna please provide your name, level and year of study, your supervisor’s name, your university and department with which you are registered for your graduate studies. Note that total course enrollment for credit is limited to 40 trainees across Canada and that there is no additional fee even if the University of Toronto is not your home institution.
